An Update

Hello all.

As any one who happens across this blog knows, there’s not a tremendous lot happening here nowadays. And there’s won’t be. However, I’ve chosen to update anyway — for the few of you that still subscribe to this blog’s feed as well as the handful that still Google their way here on a daily basis — because I’ve put up something on my regular blog that should interest anyone who enjoyed Coin Heaven: a list of video game etymologies. Essentially, it’s a compilation of verbal odds and ends, most of them relating to character names, that I’ve researched and come up with theories about. In addition to a healthy roster of Mario characters, I’ve also included Zelda, Sonic, Street Fighter, Final Fight, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Samurai Shodown, Castlevania, Earthbound/Mother, and quite a few others. The end result was rather long, but I think people will get a kick out of it.
